Carl Young

Carl Young is the producer of the PDF Conference. Carl is an Adobe Certified Instructor in Acrobat, Designer, and FrameMaker, as well as a Certified Technical Trainer.

He is an internationally known trainer in Acrobat and FrameMaker and an expert in long document creation (50 to 10,000 pages). In addition, he consults to organizations wishing to create flexible, secure paperless workflows.

He is past president of the Phoenix Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication, and is founder and coordinator of STC's Arizona FrameMaker User Network and Acrobat special interest groups.

He has spoken at the STC Region 5 Conference, the National Science Foundation Small Business Innovation Research National Conference, SeyboldSF, the nine previous PDF Conferences in the United States, Asia-Pacific PDF Conference and PDF Conference Korea.

Claudia McCue is a nationally recognized consultant, trainer, and graphic arts production expert. Combining more than 20 years of real-world production experience -- from old-style mechanicals through early electronic prepress to today's Mac- and PC-based systems -- she specializes in teaching both creative and production professionals. Her humor and accessible style engages students and makes application training fun.

She is a contributor to industry publications and frequent speaker at industry conferences, as well as an Adobe Certified Instructor/Print Specialist for Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign.
